Barb Lavercombe

Barb has always had a passion for animal welfare from a very young age. Through her life, she has supported various animal charities and taken part in fundraising events.

One of the first sponsored walks that Barb took part in as a teenager was a walk to raise money for the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection.

As well as fundraising, Barb donates regularly to animal rescue charities helping all manner of animals.

Barb is currently “owned” by her two beloved rescue cats and is now “living the dream” as a pet carer and dog walker.

Barb considers it a huge privilege to have become a Trustee for Angels for Animals Foundation and to play an active role in helping to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, abandoned and stray animals. She holds the charity very close to her heart and is determined to use all of her knowledge, drive and passion to make it a huge success in changing the lives of animals in need.
