Skye Wardle

Skye has always been an animal lover and grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, chickens, hamsters and more!

Skye and her family adopted their first Golden Retriever in 2016 and Skye was so in love with him, she knew she wanted to help animals out of awful circumstances for the rest of her life.

Skye has just graduated with a BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare, and currently works at a local dog and cat rescue shelter and boarding facility.

Since her family adopted four rescue dogs, she has spent most of her free time raising awareness of the importance of animal rescue, volunteering and fundraising for various charities.

Skye is especially passionate about giving differently abled dogs a chance at life, as her own 2 year-old Samoyed is blind, and he enjoys a full and happy life! She wanted to get involved with Angels for Animals Foundation after learning about the plight of animals in the countries from which the charity is rescuing.

Skye is committed to sharing the “adopt don’t shop” message, and believes there is a rescue dog out there for everyone!
